I love these kids! So cute! I'll miss teaching next year.
I love how this says, "I hope you have a nice baby" like someone might say, "I hope you have a nice day." Too cute!

Baby Shower #2: Surprise!
Today was the last day of school. I still can't believe a bunch of 6-year-old children kept this a surprise, but somehow, I had a SURPRISE shower at our class party today! It was so wonderful! The kids all made me this booklet that told me the stuff they like to do with their mommies (and that if I want, I can do with my baby someday) and lots of kids brought gifts. There were baby cookies (see the amazing cookies below) and a cake made by the company belonging to one of my students' parents (Cho'coa).
Everything was beautiful and I still can't believe it all happened! They made me wear a Mommy-to-be sash and cut the beautiful cake (which was as delicious as it was beautiful). It's nothing short of a miracle that I didn't bawl my eyes out. Anyway, very lovely last day of school. One more teacher workday to go, and I'm on a plane tomorrow night!

Baby Shower #1: Work Friends
I had my first baby shower today! I say first because my other friends from outside of work are plotting to get another one planned for after I get back from the U.S.
We had it at my apartment, since my place was the only one big enough to host about 20 people...but my friend Lindsay was the one who set the whole thing up and did all the work for it. It was amazing!
I was so worried about playing silly games (like eating chocolate or mustard out of diapers or something--gross), but the ones we played were really fun. Here are some pictures of the girls cutting string to guess how big my belly was. Helen was the winner--her string fit around my belly exactly!

So a pregnant lady walks into a bar...
...and is caught red-handed! (At least it was just pineapple juice!)
We had our End of Year staff party last night. It was a little surreal--the restaurant looked a little like a cafeteria, but everyone was all dressed up so it was kind of weird. I looked a little like a present in this dress, but oh well! Only 6.5 more teaching days left!
