Baby Blabber 10-17-10

Sad that Henry's Grandma & Grandpa M left this morning--we really enjoyed having them here--and so did Henry!

We managed to take them out ONCE while they were here--Henry did a great job and made it a little over an hour before starting to fuss. Not bad for our first outing! We may wait awhile before we try another one, he wasn't *quite* ready for all the excitement yet...

He is growing (weight, length) at an above average rate, according to our weekly weigh-ins. He's already grown more than 4 cm since birth in length and weighs close to 4 kg already. Amazing. Of course, I could have predicted this, since I know he seems to be eating all the time! In other news, he seems to have become fussier lately, which has kept Mom and Dad busy/tired! We are managing to have some fun times, though, so stay tuned for more to come! Here are some photos from this week:

We are still functioning on very little sleep so nothing new to write about except that we are VERY TIRED. Henry is doing well and getting bigger every day--see for yourself!

not quite a citizen yet...

We went to the Consulate to register Henry's birth and apply for a passport...but the most difficult part of it was trying to get a passport photo taken with both of his eyes open and ears showing! While attempting to get the photo, we did manage to get a few cute ones, even if they didn't exactly fit the passport photo bill...

Dad eventually took one that fit the specifications...so all is well! We should have a passport in about 2 weeks! Have baby...will travel!

We went for about 2 seconds to the beach to show Mom and Dad the Burj Al Arab...it's still a bit hot out for little Henry so we didn't stay long.

Oh yeah, and we've been married six years today! Happy Anniversary!
