Henry's new egg shaker!

We went to the music store to try to find some bells or something for Henry (he seems to like them) but they didn't have any. The nice man at the store gave Henry this egg shaker--and it's just the right size!

Attempt # 2 at the pool

...still not so successful. We got in this time, but he was so cold that we got out, dried off and then played on the sun chair for awhile. Then we went home and got in the tub to "swim" so we didn't miss out on the experience completely! We are obviously too eager to get into the pool again--it's getting hot out!

Daddy's birthday!

We got to spend Daddy's birthday with him because he took the day off from work! It was so much fun.

First, we opened presents in bed. Henry thought it was HIS birthday. His favorite present was the wrapping paper, of course.

Finally, we went and ate at the new Shake Shack at the Mall of the Emirates. Paul says that the shakes are pretty good there! I loved the burger and fries. Henry liked his blended slop (penne with courgettes and tomato, but you wouldn't know it if you saw it).

Boulevard Cafe

We finally went to the Boulevard Cafe, after everyone we know told us it is the best place ever for brunch--here are some photos of our breakfast! It was ok--I'd definitely go again, but I don't think I'd order what I got again (their signature sandwich--was way too sweet).
